Extras Page

On this page I like to plug our favorite all time authors and books.  It’s hard to choose because there are so many excellent authors out there right now.

Jayne Nichols | Jordan Dymes | Margaret Dymes

Jayne Nichols Books

JAYNE NICHOLS – I love to read a well written romance with or without a little meat in it.

Rachel Gibson - Simply Irresistible, The Trouble With Valentines
Susan Elizabeth Phillips - It Had to be You
Tami Hoag - A Thin Dark Line, Dark Paradise
Nora Roberts - True Betrayals, Hidden Riches, Villa

 Jordan Dymes Books

JORDAN DYMES – I like to read a political thriller I can’t put down.

Martin Cruz Smith - Polar Star – my favorite Arkady Renko novel
Daniel Silva - The Mark of the Assassin with super villain Jean-Paul Delaroche

 Maragret Dymes Books

MARGARET DYMES – I like to read anything historical which is basically any year before I was born (not telling).

Amanda Quick - The Tobias March and Lavinia Lake trilogy – Shady Lady, Don’t Look Back, and Late for the Wedding – (Actually, I like all her books which don’t dabble in the arcane.)

John Jakes - All eight books in the Kent Family Chronicles:  The Bastard, The Rebels, The Seekers, The Furies, The Titans, The Warriors, The Lawless, and The Americans (an incredibly well done series)

James Clavell - Shogun, Taipan

Walter Farley - The Black Stallion Books
Julie Campbell - The Trixie Belden Books
Carolyn Keene - The Dana Girls Mysteries (I liked these better than Nancy Drew.)
Upton Sinclair - The Jungle  (I read this as a teenager and have never forgotten it.)
